Hi...I bought a Pepsi lamp yesterday at a thrift store. I'm not a collector, but this was unique and caught my eye. I'd really appreciate it if anyone could tell me something about it...it's an older glass Pepsi bottle and a glass Pepsi cup mounted on a wood stand. The bottle has been made into a lamp. The cup is almost totally covered with the Pepsi logo, but you can see "brown liquid" at the bottom, and the top inch or so is filled with styrofoam so it looks foamy. It has a clear plastic straw coming out the top, also filled with fake liquid. When you flip it over, the bottom of the base has two 3" screw slides, one across the top and one down the side. That REALLY has me puzzled! There's also a handwritten number - 16768-53. Other than that there are no markings of any kind. If you know anything or have a suggestion as to where I might look for more information, Please let me know...I'm dying of curiosity :o) THANK YOU!!! Skylaark
Slight revision...after doing a lot of research, I'm 99% sure that this was meant to be some sort of display piece, and that someone must have turned it into a lamp later. I'd still love to know something about it if anyone here has any information. Thanks again :o) Skylaark
